Pages 153-169 | Received 25 Nov 1978, Accepted 09 Jun 1980, Published online: 25 Nov 2008

Abstract

An attempt is made to provide a coherent coverage of the mechanical and dielectric properties of wool and horn in the region of linear viscoelasticity through the concept of relaxation processes. The data obtained provide information on the relaxation and creep processes involved in the wrinkling and bending of fabrics.
