The cylindrical critical problem for an extremely anisotropic kernel

Abstract

For a scattering kernel which combines isotropic and forward scattering, the cylindrical critical problem is studied, in case of one speed time independent neutron transport theory. Numerical results indicate that the critical radius varies non-monotonically with anisotropy.
