Abstract
The twelfth in the series of biennial conferences in transport theory (the Blacksburg Conferences) was held this year in Albuquerque, New Mexico, from August 12 to August 16. The organizing committee was chaired by Anil Prinja of the University of New Mexico and included Ahmed Badruzzaman, Sandia National Laboratories; Tahmina Badruzzaman, Phillips Laboratories; Paul Nelson, Texas A&M; and David Dietz, Phillips Laboratories. All of these organizers are to be complimented not only for the excellent quality of the meeting but also for the warm hospitality and excellent accommodations. The yeoman service, always with a friendly smile, of the administrative assistant Cheryl Brozena was an essential ingredient in the smooth operation of the Conference.
