Welcome to the fourth issue of the Australian Journal of Forensic Sciences for 2024. Again we have an interesting array of research, both domestic and international, encompassing everything from forensic anthropology to microbiology.
Some of the 2023 metrics for TAJF have been released. Pleasingly, our Scopus CiteScore has increased for the fourth year in a row, to 3.2. Our best quartile is Q2 in the category of Forensic Medicine; impact factors for 2023 are still pending.
I would also like to take the opportunity to put the call out for expressions of interest for special issues of TAJF. It may be that there is a topical issue within a specific discipline, or something relevant to the forensic sciences overall, worthy of compiling a series of useful research papers. Interested parties may contact me at [email protected] to discuss further.
