Hypocuprosis in Northland as discussed in Part 1 of this paper gives support to the contention that copper supplementation either by injection or from topdressing is beneficial in lowering the incidence of post-parturient haemoglobinuria (P.P.H.) (CitationMartinovich and Woodhouse, 1971) and maintaining higher levels of haemoglobin.
