This article refers to:
Effects of subcutaneously injected Ca Cu EDTA on concentrations of Cu in liver, milk production and reproductive performance in New Zealand dairy cows

The paper by D Hawkins. published in the New Zealand Veterinary Journal 62, 244–249, 2014, entitled, “Effects of subcutaneously injected Ca Cu EDTA on concentrations of Cu in liver, milk production and reproductive performance in New Zealand dairy cows”, contained errors in the captions for and . The Figures and the correct captions are produced below:

Figure 1. Mean (±SEM) concentrations of Cu in the liver of dairy cows injected S/C with Ca Cu EDTA to provide 100 mg Cu once on Day 0 (□), 100 mg Cu on Days 0, 42 and 84 (▪), 200 mg Cu once on Day 0 (Δ) and 200 mg Cu on Days 0, 42 and 84 (▴).

Figure 2. Difference in the percentage of dairy cows inseminated in the 21 days after mating start date MSD (▪), or were pregnant following insemination in the 21 days after MSD (□), between cows that were untreated (Control) or injected S/C with 200 mg Cu as Ca Cu EDTA (Treatment) 10 days prior to MSD, on six farms (i.e. Control – Treatment). Note insemination data were not provided for Farm E.
