The paper by Matthews et al. published in the New Zealand Veterinary Journal 66 (5), pages 261–66, 2018, entitled, “Effect of a one-off sporidesmin challenge on the milk production of dairy cows”, was published with errors in the caption for Figure 2 on page 264.
The caption incorrectly states the colours in the figure representing the three groups of cows. The correct wording should be:
Figure 2. Milk yield (L), measured at the morning milking, of individual dairy cows that were untreated (blue lines) or received a single dose (0.24 mg/kg) of sporidesmin on Day 0 and were then categorised as non-clinical (red lines) or clinical (green lines), based on clinical signs of photosensitivity measured 0–42 days following dosing. Within-group averages are shown as sold lines, with 95% CI as shaded areas, calculated using a generalised additive mixed model.
