The paper by Cameron et al. published in the New Zealand Veterinary Journal 70 (4), pages 228–232, 2022, entitled, “Cross-sectional survey of housing for pet guinea pigs (Cavia porcellus) in New Zealand”, was published with errors on page 231 in the first paragraph of the discussion.
The final two sentences of this paragraph should read “Nearly 60% of guinea pigs were provided with an additional place, such as a garage, deck, garden or pen, to spend time on a daily basis. This is a larger proportion than that reported by Harrup and Rooney (2020) who found that 33.1% of guinea pigs in the UK spent time daily in an external area in winter and 58.3% in summer.”
