Abstract
The formation of LandCare groups of farmers all over Australia has led to a demand for farm and catchment mapping. Modern technology in the form of Global Positioning Systems, remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems can aid in the production of maps and associated information products for agricultural applications. This paper outlines some of the issues related to mapping for the farm environment using modern technology.
