Abstract
This paper aims to shed light on the Palmyrene inscriptions discovered during the Badia Epigraphic Survey (BES) from 2015 to 2023, through a comparative and linguistic approach. Additionally, we attempt to understand the reasons for the presence of these inscriptions in the Jordanian Badia, which appears to be related to trade. This is the first comprehensive study of the entire corpus of Palmyrene inscriptions known so far from the Jordanian ḥarra.
