Summary
In this third work concerning the marine algal flora of South-central Somalia. The species belonging to the Siphonocladales-Cladophorales complex are examined. The study of the material available, has led to the identification of 31 species. Most of them are recorded for the first time for the Somalian coast, due mainly to the only sporadic research previously carried out in this area. For each species, information on the localities where it occurs, notes on the morphology, geographical distribution and features of taxonomic interest. Are given.
In questo terzo contributo, che segue quelli relativi al genere Caulerpa (SARTONI, 1978) ed ai generi Halimeda ed Udotea (SARTONI, 1979), vengono prese in esame le specie appartenenti ai due ordini delle Cladophorales e Siphonocladales. Lo studio del materiale disponibile, raccolto in varie località della Somalia centro-meridionale, ha portato alia identificazione di 31 specie, quasi tutte nuove per le coste somale in ragione delle sporadiche indagini floristiche effettuate in questo settore del bacino indo-pacifico. Oltre ad una sintetica descrizione morfologica, per ciascun reperto sono riportate le località di raccolta, eventuali note tassonomiche e brevi considerazioni sulla loro ecologia e distribuzione geografica.
