Vengono spiegati i motivi per cui Nardi, in un recente lavoro sulla tipificazione del genere Isopyrum L., ha indicato in I. fumarioides L. e non in I. thalictroides L., come è poi effettivamente risultato, il generitipo scelto nell'ambito della List of Linnaean Generic Names and their Types, edita ad opera di JARVIS & al. a distanza di pochi giorni dalla stessa pubblicazione di Nardi.
