The text should be modified as indicated here.
1) Page 107: Rogeria longiflora is given as: R. longiflora (D. Royen) J. Gay ex DC. The correct authority appears on p. 103, as: Rogeria longiflora (L.) J. Gay Ann. Sci. Nat. (Paris) 1: 457. 1824.
2) Page 109: Seed of Helary 50 (WIND) was removed from the un-mounted specimen in order to be photographed for Fig. 6. When the specimen was eventually mounted and the seed was reunited with the specimen, I found that Helary 50 is in fact R. longiflora (L.) J. Gay.
3) Page 104: Taxonomic history section first paragraph: omit ‘J’ after ‘Rogeria’ as is duplicated.
4) Two references appear in 4 places: A) Page 104 (twice) in Taxonomic History section, B) Page 107 in 2) Rogeria longiflora… synonym and ref. section – ‘R. longiflora var. triloba Engl. (1888a) Bot Jahrb Syst. 10: 255’.
5) Page 104: description of Rogeria. Word missing in 2nd line up – ‘lobes suborbicular to obovate…’
6) Page 106: numbering of steps in key: ‘1a’ and all others are plain numbers, e.g. ‘2’ and ‘3’. Correctly, key should drop the ‘a’.
7) Page 107: locality for type of R. longiflora: include ‘Hereroland’ after ‘Namibia.
8) Clarification about Delile and Cailliaud (1826 and 1827), regarding Rogeria’s origin. Delile (1826) published a short formal description of Rogeria, of R. adenophylla, as a preprint preceded by the figure (plate 63, vol. 2, 1823). Subsequently, Delile (1827) published this again, with an augmented title, as an appendix to Cailliaud’s (1827) Voyage à Méroé in vol. 4. The plate number in the whole work is LXIII. Note that the plate was published in 1823, vol. 2 as t. 63, prior to the 1826 publication of the description.
Delile, A.R. (1826) Centurie de plantes d’Afrique du voyage à Méroé. Paris (Imprimerie royale) p. 78. (Preprint, later published as an appendix to Cailliaud, F. (1827) Voyage à Méroé. 4. See below.) [Note Taxonomic Literature II (TL-2) (1976): 424 says “The botany should therefore be cited from this preprint.”]

9) Gay, J.E. (1824 Sur le Pretrea et Rogeria, … plantes. Ann Sci Nat. [BPH-2 (2004) 1:91] sér 1, 1 [it is a volume, not a number]: 457.
