The barrows at Cowlam were in fact excavated by TCM Brewster and subsequently published by Lorna Watts and Philip Rahtz (p. 63). Brewster was not credited as an author in the published report.

Willy Howe Beaker Burial: the crouched inhumation burial was partially cut through by the northern side of the outer of the two concentric ditches, rather than as stated on page 63, on the southern side.

Towthorpe 139. The quoted grid reference SE626586 is incorrect. The correct grid reference is SE881639.
