Abstract
Isothiocyanatoborane complexes with triethyl-, di-i-propyl-, tripropyl-, di-i-butyl- and di-n-butyl-amines have been prepared by treating amine hydrochlorides with NaBH3SCN (generated in situ from the NaBH4, iodine and NaSCN) in refluxing monoglyme. The products have been characterized by spectroscopic methods.
