Abstract
Coordination polymers of Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II), Mn(II) and Zn(II) with poly-Schiff base derived from 5, 5′-methylenebis (3-nitrosalicylaldehyde) and 1, 3-diaminopropane have been prepared. The coordination polymers have been characterized by their elemental analysis, magnetic, spectral and thermal properties. Electrical conductivities of the chelates have been studied and probable structures are proposed for the chelates.
