In this paper, a general technique is proposed to determine optimum proportion of the logistic regression model for all even and odd number points. It is shown that a design with an even number of points requires symmetry for its optimality and is a replication of two-point design. Further, the optimum proportions for a D-optimal design involving an odd number of observations asymptotically approaches to the optimum proportion for the two-point design.
