Abstract
Measurements of dielectric dispersion in the ferroelectric phase of a 2-APP crystal in the frequency range 200 Hz–1 MHz were carried out. Data points were stored for different amplitudes of measuring field. The dielectric spectra were analysed using the Cole–Cole equation. In this frequency range, one relaxation process was found. The temperature dependence of the relaxation time of this process was calculated. The activation energy of this process was obtained according to the Arrhenius equation, and two amplitudes of the measuring field, 2.8 and 2.1 kV m−1, yielded the following two values: 0.0383± 0.003 and 0.0350± 0.003 eV.
