Mossbauer studies of ti-ni-fe shape-memory alloy

Abstract

This paper presents a laboratory procedure for preparing Ti50Ni47Fe3(57Fe) shape-memory alloy (SMA) and Mossbauer results concerning its lattice softening and changes in charge density at structural transitions. From the experimental results, the Debye temperature øD(T) is determined.
