ABSTRACT
In the present investigation biocomposites of Nanochitosan(NC) and Polyvinyl pyrollidone were prepared in the proportion 2:1 with and without consideration of cross-linking agent glutarldehyde which enhances thermal properties, tensile strength, decreases elongation of flims. The prepared blend crosslinks in the presence and absence of glutaraldehyde were observed by various spectral studies such as FTIR, XRD and SEM. The charaecterisation studies reveal that that the proposed binary blends can act as promising biomaterials for energy engineering applications.
