AOTEAROA NEW ZEALAND SYMPOSIUM

Overview-Bodies of Knowledge: Post-colonial theories, subjectivity and education

Pages 477-480 | Published online: 19 Aug 2006

Notes

1. Early versions of these papers were presented at the symposium "Knowing subjects, post-coloniality, and subjectivity", at the NZARE/AARE Joint Conference, Hyatt Regency Hotel and University of Auckland, New Zealand, 29 November-3 December 2003. Middleton's conference paper was subsequently published as Middleton (Citation2003). Although on a similar topic, her paper in this symposium is substantially refocused.

2. The authors' attempts to have books on these projects published by international publishers have to date met with the response that the New Zealand content makes the work of little commercial viability.
