Manuscripts are being sought on mental health wellness, recovery, and holism for a special issue of Issues in Mental Health Nursing. The journal is peer-reviewed and indexed in PsycINFO, CINAHL, PubMed, and many other databases. The year 2017 is its 38th year of publication. Its impact factor is 0.990 and it is ranked 65 out of 116 journals in the Nursing Science Category of the 2015 JCR.
A broad range of topics will be considered including currently used complementary and alternative nursing interventions or theoretical approaches related to mental health wellness, recovery, and holism. Green Care, global warming and mental health, holistic modalities, recovery-oriented service delivery and outcomes, family issues, prevention concepts, and workforce development are also appropriate topics. Review articles will be considered as well as research-focused, practice-oriented, and theoretical/conceptual papers.
Accepted manuscripts will be available online ahead-of-print.
Deadline: Manuscripts must be received by June 1, 2017.
“Issues in Mental Health Nursing” requires APA format. There is no specified page limit, but most papers range from 15 to 25 pages of double-spaced text. Accuracy in citations is imperative.
