Editorial: The Social Construction of the G-Spot and Female Ejaculation

Pages 151-162 | Published online: 22 Jan 2015

Abstract

The Grafenberg spot and female ejaculation are two controversial issues in the field of human sexuality. An analysis of the discovery and rediscovery of female sexual capacities is utilized to develop a model based on sexual scripts and power to define sexuality. An attempt is made to show how biological capacities are socially constructed. Clinical implications are addressed for physicians, sex researchers, and sex therapists.
