Abstract

Hypoactive sexual desire (HSD) is a complex sexual problem that has been related to many etiological factors. Marital distress has been frequently mentioned as an important factor related to HSD. The goal of the present study was to assess the dyadic adjustment of couples with and without HSD. The Dyadic Adjustment Scale was used to assess marital adjustment among subjects with and without HSD. The results indicate significant differences between the two groups in couple dyadic adjustment.
