This article refers to:
Environment and Energy: The Baltic Sea Gas Pipeline

Erratum regarding the article by Ellen Karm, ‘Environment and Energy: The Baltic Sea Gas Pipeline’, published in Journal of Baltic Studies, 39, 2, pp. 99–121, doi: 10.1080/01629770802031200.

On page 104, the second paragraph should now read:

Table 1 shows the state of Estonia's Baltic Sea fishery for the years 2000 through 2005. The numbers are mixed; the Atlantic cod harvest in 2004 is more than twice what it was in 2000 and down by over half in 2005, while the trend for herring is down after showing slight improvement in 2004. The sprat catch is up considerably with a gain in 2005 of over 21,000 tons. The overall Baltic Sea catch shows improvement in 2004 and 2005 after a three-year decline. These figures appear hopeful, but it may be too early to tell if this is only a short-term reversal in a generally downward trend. According to HELCOM, cod and salmon in the Baltic Sea have declined as a result of overexploitation and pollution, and fish catches are not sustainable.Footnote7 The construction and operation of the pipeline may place additional stress on fish populations and negatively impact the fishery by establishing off-limit areas to fishing.

On page 109, should now read:

Table 2.  Accommodated tourists in Estonia

On page 120 the following reference should now read:
