First additions and corrections to the World Catalogue of the Spider Mite Family (Acari: Tetranychidae)

Abstract

This work lists 43 new species and 2 new synonyms, 2 new genera and 7 new combinations established since the publication of the World Catalogue of the Spider Mite Family (Bolland et al., 1998). Eurytetranychus buxi (Garman) is considered a valid name and E. latus (Berlese) is rejected. Paraplonobia (Anaplonobia) harteni (Meyer) is a new combination for Neopetrobia harteni. It also includes modifications of the world key genera.
