Descriptions of two new species of phytoseiid mites (Acari: Phytoseiidae) from Egypt

Abstract

The adult females of two new phytoseiid species are described and illustrated. Neoseiulella neoviniferae n.sp. was collected from grapevine leaves, Vitis vinifera L., infested with the two-spotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae Koch., while Typhlodromus psidium n.sp. was found associated with the sweetpotato whitefly, Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius), infesting guava trees, Psidium guajava L., at Sharkia Governorate, Egypt.
