Redescription of Transeius patellae (Karg) (Acari: Phytoseiidae) and first record from Iran

Abstract

Transeius patellae (Karg) was found during a survey conducted on tea plants, Camellia sinensis (Theaceae), in the Mazandaran Province of Ramsar, on the coast of the Caspian Sea, the major tea-growing region of Iran. This species, recorded for the first time in Iran, is redescribed.
