We are indebted to Anne Bedos and Louis Deharveng for the opportunity to study the mites they collected in Kien Giang Province in South of Vietnam as well as for information about the sampling localities. Field trips were organized by colleagues from the National University of Ho Chi Minh City and of the Institute of Tropical Biology of Ho Chi Minh City, in the frame of various small-scale projects that followed their 1993 warning about serious quarrying threats to Hòn Chông limestone hills. Any opinion, findings and conclusions or recommendations expressed in the material are those of the authors and therefore the NRF does not accept any liability in regard thereto.
