Ledermuelleriopsis alvatanensis sp. nov. (Acari: Stigmaeidae): a new species of stigmaeid mites from Iran

ABSTRACT

In this paper, Ledermuelleriopsis alvatanensis sp. nov., collected from rotten wood, soil and litter under oak trees from Alvatan forest, Iran, is described and illustrated. A key to identification for all known species of the genus and a table of important characters of species is provided.
