ABSTRACT
Two new species of the Tribe Acaricalini (Eriophyidae: Phyllocoptinae) from China’s Hubei and Guangxi Provinces are described and illustrated. They are Acaphyllisa illicii sp. nov. on Illicium lanceolatum A. C. Smith (Schisandraceae) (common name: Poisonous Eightangle) and Paracaphyllisa parasiticae sp. nov. on Thelypteris parasitica (L.) Tardieu (Thelypteridaceae). Both are vagrants causing no apparent damage to their host plants.
