ABSTRACT
The original description of Ischnotoma (Icriomastax) antinympha (Alexander, 1942) only used a single female specimen. We analyzed 181 specimens, among them males and females, to redescribe the female and describe the male for the first time. Ischnotoma (Icriomastax) antinympha can be distinguished from other species of the subgenus by characters such as lateral coloration of rostrum; colorations of each segment of palpus; prescutum with 2 + 2 visible strips; wing color pattern distribution; M1+2 longer than m; veins M1 and M2 without sinuosity; and vein M3 sinuous.
