Abstract
Polyarteritis Nodosa is a multi-system necrotizing vasculitis which predominantly affects small and medium-sized arteries. Complications of this disease involving the central nervous system are rare and prompt more stringent monitoring and treatment. We report a patient with Polyarteritis nodosa first presented at an ophthalmology clinic with visual field defects. Subsequent computer tomography showed occipital infarct secondary to cerebral vasculitis.
