Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) is the descent of anterior vaginal wall, posterior vaginal wall, the uterus (cervix), or the apex of the vagina.
Prolapse may be associated with a variety of urinary, bowel and sexual symptoms which may significantly compromise the quality of life of the patients.
General and specific questionnaires are used to evaluate the impact of POP on sexual function.
