Etude des interactions in vitro entre les lectines et les glycoprotéines des graines de Légumineuses, à l'aide de lectines marquées à l'isothiocyanate de fluorescéine

Résumé

Différentes lectines (Concanavaline A et lectines de Lentille, de Pois et de Vesce cultivée) marquées à l'isothiocyanate de fluorescéine se fixent sur plusieurs protéines des graines de même origine séparées par électrophorèse en gel de Polyacrylamide. Cette fixation est inhibée par addition de D(+) glucose aux lectines marquées. Ces résultats, qui impliquent l'existence d'interactions intraspécifiques entre les lectines et les glycoprotéines des graines, sont discutés en fonction de nos connaissances sur la répartition des lectines dans les graines.

Summary

Fluorescein-labeled lectins (Concanavalin A and lectins from lentil, garden pea and vetch seeds) are bound by several proteins from their corresponding seeds previously separated by disc-electrophoresis. This lectin binding is inhibited by adding D(+) glucose to the fluorescein-labeled lectins. These results involving an intraspecific interaction between lectins and other seed glycoproteins, are discussed in the light of our present knowledge on the lectin distribution within the seed.
