We, the Editor and Publishers of Journal of Dispersion Science and Technology, are removing the online accepted author version of the following article:

“Annular Pressure Loss Modeling of Drilling Mud Flowing through an Annular Section Using Artificial Neural Networks” by Meysam Mirarab, Vassilios Kelessidis, and Roberto Maglione. The accepted author version of this article was posted online on August 8, 2013.

We are now cognizant that the corresponding author had included in the authorship of this article several co-authors without permission.

We have also ascertained that experimental data from the following prior-published work was used in this paper without proper citation:

“Frictional Pressure Losses for the Flow of Drilling Mud and Mud/Gas Mixtures” by J.P. Langlinais, A.T. Bourgoyn Jr., and W.R. Holden, SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition, 5–8 October 1983, San Francisco, California. IBSN 978-1-55563-652-4.

These actions constitute a breach of warranties made by the corresponding author with respect to authorship and originality. We note we received, peer-reviewed, accepted, and published the accepted author version of this article in good faith based on these warranties, and censure these actions.
