ABSTRACT

Alcohol polyoxyethylene ether acetates (AECs) containing 10 ethylene oxide (EO) groups and a fatty chain of C16-18 mixed with alkyl ethoxy polyglycoside can incorporate the excellent properties compared to the individual surfactants, which can broaden the range of applications in daily chemical industry. The physicochemical properties of the mixed surfactant systems were investigated by surface tension, wetting, foaming, and emulsification measurements. The phase behavior of the mixed systems was also studied. Synergism was obtained in surface tension, wetting, and foaming ability.
