Abstract
This article reports an investigation of the LGBTQ Responsive Model for Supervision of Group Work, a trans-theoretical supervisory framework to address the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) persons (Goodrich & Luke, Citation2011). Findings partially supported applicability of the LGBTQ Responsive Model for Supervision of Group Work with school counselors-in-training. Most group supervisory interventions in this study focused on trainee Awareness, were delivered from the Teacher role, and occurred at the Whole Group level. Proportionately fewer supervisory interventions occurred at the interpersonal group level and very few at the supra-group level. Limitations and implications of the study are discussed.
