Abstract
This article reports on a content analysis of ALA‐accredited MLIS programs performed to determine how many offer a course on resources in science and technology. Periodic availability and currency of offered courses are investigated. Implications for sci‐tech librarianship and LIS education are discussed. Results reveal that 30 percent of LIS programs adequately offer such a course, but 55 percent do not offer it with reasonable frequency.
