ABSTRACT
The study assesses and analyze the global “Pharmacopoeia” research output on a set of quantitative and qualitative metrics to explore the status of research activity on pharmacopoeia at global, national, organizational, and also at individual level. The study provides a domain to the most productive countries, institutions or organizations, communication channels, authors, and research themes. Publications data (556 publications) were retrieved using Scopus database for the study timespan 2000–2020. The network visualization maps including research collaboration were created by utilizing the VOSviewer program. The pharmacopoeia research output registered a 15.76% annual average growth and accrued an average of 7.05 citations per paper during the period. The leading role of China was reflected in the analysis as topped country, organization, and leading communication channel.
