Lower Generalized Order Statistics Based on Inverse Burr Distribution

SYNOPTIC ABSTRACT

In this study, simple explicit expressions and recurrence relations for single and product moments of lower generalized order statistics from inverse Burr distribution have been derived. The results for order statistics and record values are deduced from the relations derived. The method of maximum likelihood is adopted for estimating the model parameters. For different parameter settings and sample sizes, the various simulation studies are performed and compared with the performance of the proposed methods for maximum likelihood estimation. Finally, we suggest some applications.
