SYNOPTIC ABSTRACT
In this article, we study the interval estimation of the parameters associated with a family of distributions, generated by Topp-Leone distribution, based on dual generalized order statistics (dgos). We provide the confidence intervals for shape and scale parameters of this family of distributions. These confidence intervals are validated when the number of dgos is greater than or equal to 3. A numerical study is conducted by simulating record values (special case of dgos) from Topp-Leone generated exponential distribution. Real data analysis is also carried out to show the application of the derived results.
