Abstract

This article presents the study of an executive functions (EF) stimulation programme for children with learning disabilities (LD), based on ecological tasks. A pre-post comparison design with a control group was used. The components of flexibility, inhibition, working memory and sustained attention were evaluated. The results showed that children in the intervention group improved in the areas of flexibility and working memory. The programme is useful for improving aspects of EF in children with LD. Modifications for its future application are subsequently proposed.
