On the construction of bayesian prediction limits for the weibull distribution

Abstract

This paper is concerned with a BAYESian construction of the prediction limits for the Weibull distribution as an example of extreme value distributions. Thus, considering Weibull and Uniform distributions for the parameters, the predictive functions, which may lead to approximative evaluation of the prediction limits, is determined by using simulation methods
