Note on Palm measures in the intensity conservation law and inversion formula in PMP and their applications

Pages 281-293 | Received 01 Sep 1979, Published online: 27 Jun 2007

Abstract

We consider a stochastic process with two types of embedded stationary marked point processes. The so called intensity conservation law, which was obtained by Konig et al, [4], and the inversion formula of point processes are modified for this process, It is shown that they are useful to get invariance relations in queue length processes in many server queues. Some applications of these results are also discussed.
