Reviewers are considered the backbone of research publications. They not only support authors in polishing their manuscripts, also help editors in the decision-making process. Since they spend their valuable time reading and evaluating manuscripts, Tourism Recreation Research (TRR) gives outstanding reviewer awards every year to felicitate and encourage them. This year TRR has taken the help of about 400 tourism scholars from around the globe, but the following scholars were extremely helpful:
Bona Kim, Inha University, Korea
Raymond Rastegar, University of Queensland, Australia
Wen-Long Zhuang, Hungkuang University, Taiwan
Anestis Fotiadis, Zayed University, UAE
Tareq Rasul, Australian Institute of Business, Australia

Although we are grateful to all the scholars, who helped us as reviewers, particularly those enlisted above, for the help they rendered to TRR, we are happy to announce that the outstanding reviewer award for this year goes to Dr. Bona Kim, Inha University, Korea, Dr Raymond Rastegar, University of Queensland, Australia, and Dr Wen-Long Zhuang, Hungkuang University, Taiwan who have refereed maximum equal number of manuscripts for TRR during the year 2022.
