Designing flexible and intelligent interface of a group decision support system for small and medium sized enterprises

Abstract

This paper referring to the suggestion resulting from the empirical research reviews the behavior of the Group Decision Support Systems (GDSS) users, who working as a team might benefit better results in their decision making action.

It is the purpose of this work to develop a GDSS interface, namely Managerial Planning System (MPS), as a knowledge-based system aimed at meeting the effects of weakness and pitfalls arising from the communication and interaction in small groups and to attempt the determination of name effective design strategies which would elicit better group performance is planning the decision making process in Small Medium Sized Enterprises.

It is the purpose of this work to develop a GDSS Interface namely Managerial Planning System (MPS) as a “knowledge-based” system aiming at assisting in the planning and decision making process for Small Médium Sized Enterprises (SMEs).
