The relationship between organizational structure, supply chain management, and organizational performance: a study on the semiconductor industry

Abstract

Based on literature review and experimental results, the study employs questionnaire surveys to investigate the relationship between organizational structure, supply chain management, and organizational performance. The targets for study are members from TSIA (Taiwan Semiconductor Industry Association). A total of 175 questionnaires are delivered, and 50 of which are collected. A series of factor analyses, regression analyses, and canonical correlation analyses are conducted and the following results are obtained: (1) Organizational structure has significantly positive impacts on organizational performance. (2) Supply chain management has significantly positive impacts on organizational performance. (3) Organizational structure has significantly positive impacts on supply chain management.
