Abstract
The current age of Anthropocene demands that science assumes a new image and relationships with the world. This article makes a case for the role of dialogue within transdisciplinary research. Firstly, it situates the current debates about transdisciplinarity within the philosophical discourse on dialogicality and explores its potential for complex problem solving. Secondly, it offers the foundations and conceptual map for further analysis of transdisciplinary research in wider contexts of philosophy of science as it examines the compatibility of the epistemological, ontological, axiological, and methodological dimensions of dialogue with transdisciplinary research. Finally, it proposes an original dialogue-based framework of transdisciplinary research.
