Schools in the Market place? some problems’ with private sector models

Abstract

’Secondary schools and larger primaries will have to adjust to a new management culture under LMS. Heads will become, in effect, managing directors, heads of department will become departmental managers and governors will become directors responsible for the way their schools perform.
